...just might be my favourite (but shhh...don't tell anyone!)

Winter weddings can be some of the most heart-warming, with cosy fire-lit venues, guests arriving wrapped up in their coats and scarves and rich bouquets full of seasonal blooms. Even the food takes on a different, more festive twist, and everything from the table decorations to the brides dress just seems to feel that much more luxurious. Winter weddings can often be smaller, more intimate affairs, but that just makes for even more memorable details and moments. Here are some of the beautiful things that I believe make winter weddings special.

WINTER WEDDINGS

WINTER WEDDINGS

“Lace for the bride and wool tweed for the groom and his men, are the perfect choice of fabrics for a winter wedding.
Classic, luxurious and warm, they bring weight and tradition, not to mention in the case of the tweed, beautiful rich colour. Moss Bros were the suit suppliers for this wedding.”

A LATE DECEMBER WEDDING NESTLED IN THE HEART OF WARWICKSHIRE

Well, what can I say - this beautiful wedding represented Helen & Adam perfectly. The venue was Warwick House in Southam and, decked out in luxurious Christmas decorations, warmth oozed out of the place as you entered. This wedding featured a gorgeous couple; lovely family and friends; charming bridesmaids & groomsmen; absolutely wild flowergirls; touching personal decorations & tributes to family both present & past; incredible live music; romantic low winter sunshine with just a hint of a nip in the air; and perhaps the most exciting of all for any patisserie and baking lovers out there - a wedding cake (or cakes!) from Betty's Tea Rooms in Harrogate! It was truly a wonderful day. Here is a slice of it.
