Helen & Adam

Warwick House // Southam, Warwickshire

The perfect winter wedding

When Helen and Adam asked if I was available for a late December wedding, my eyes lit up! How romantic I thought! Well, I was not disappointed. Warwick House looked beautiful with its christmas trees, the white sky outside and the warmth radiating from within. Guests arrived wrapped up in big coats, ready to tipple away the chill, and the cake (made up of french fancies expertly baked by Betty's of York) looked very grand indeed!

There were classic games to play, photos of family past and present, and gifts and cards were placed in Helen's grandad's old suitcase from when he was a child. Little touches of love and warmth were all around, and I was so grateful to be a part of their beautiful winter wedding.

INTERVIEW WITH HELEN & ADAM

What concerns / worries did you have about choosing your wedding photographer?

I wouldn't say we had any specific concerns, but as its such a special day you hope every moment is captured, even those that you miss, so you can relive the day again years down the line.

How did I set those worries at ease?

From the small details, reactions of family & guests, to our first dance (& everything in between), Sarah captured them all! The whole day was beautifully documented.

What was the best thing about having me as your photographer?

Sarah put our minds (& our guests) at complete ease. We aren't the most relaxed when it comes to getting our photo taken but to have Sarah in front of us, making us laugh & feel immediately comfortable was everything we could have hoped for.

Would you recommend me to others, and why?

Without hesitation! Sarah's vision is perfect and her approach is effortless. 3 years on, we regularly look back at the photos and there's no one else we would trust or want to share our special day with. If we were to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing!
