My work is about people. Their lives past and present. Their journeys, and their relationships. I remain convinced that photographs are amongst the most precious things we possess. In the event of a fire, (after my wife and daughter of course), my photographs, printed and on hard drives, would be the first things I would reach for. Many a time have I heard people dread the loss or damage of their phones because they 'have so many photos on there!' Printed or not, our photographs matter. And this is why I do what I do. Because after the wedding is over, or your children have grown up, what you have left are beautiful memories and the photographs that will remind you of the details.

So live in the present, see and feel everything, laugh, cry - and let me take the photographs that will be there long after.

Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again.
